We didn't reinvent the shoe.
Born from a conviction, not a trend.
Fleeters started in 2022 with a simple question: why do shoes that look good almost always hurt?
Co-founded by an osteopath, the brand was built around what feet actually need — then designed to not look like it.
Designed in France, made by hand in northern Portugal.
Our shoes are made in three workshops in the Porto region: Vizela, Torrados and Lousada. Artisans we have worked with since the beginning, who know every model by heart.
We chose Portugal for its long-standing expertise in shoemaking — and for the lasting relationships this kind of production makes possible. Every pair passes through their hands before it reaches yours.
Materials chosen, not inherited.
From the start, we've favored alternatives to conventional materials: grape leather, corn-based uppers, recycled components. Our approach keeps evolving: we now also work with locally sourced European leathers, selected for their traceability and durability.
Every model is assessed through Bcome, the leading platform for supply chain transparency in fashion. Carbon footprint, water use, environmental impact — all measured and published on each product page.
We produce in measured quantities. No overstock, no mass clearance sales.
Every pair sold, we act
Since 2025, part of every sale goes to Wings of the Ocean — the French association fighting plastic pollution in our oceans. Since 2018, they've run over 1,400 clean-up operations, reached more than 50,000 people, and collected over 150 tonnes of waste.
Before that, we were members of 1% for the Planet for two years. We chose Wings of the Ocean because they work on the ground, in France, with measurable results.
